what makes maize different?

We are a team of highly experienced education consulting professionals who have been advising Chinese students on developing and preparing for competitive international higher education institution admissions for almost a decade. As our co-founders noticed the shifting global landscape and educational needs of this current era, they decided to form this new team in order to leverage international education, consulting, and technology to develop the next wave of responsible international young leaders.

Maize Education is a foreign-invested education consulting and technology firm established in February of 2021. It is its founders’ passion project in harnessing the power of education technology and international pedagogy to improve students’ competencies for interest-exploration, self-inquiry, productivity, and ultimately college readiness. Above all, we hope to use education as the bridge to instill the values of humility, self-reliance, global responsibility, and empathy in our students and create a more peaceful world for tomorrow.

Our founders are both from Chicago, Illinois, and this state is well-known for its focus on farming corn. That's why they chose the name of Maize or 育米 as a play on words.
